We love spending the hot, steamy days of summer on the shores of the Atlantic—cool waves at our feet, and coconut sunscreen in the salt air. We want to feel comfortable, breezy, and cute, so what we wear should be just as important as our parking passes and sunblock. Whatever we pick, the breathable fabrics should feel soft on our salty, sandy skin, and the styles should be multi-taskers, perfect for swinging by the gourmet market before the beach and for grabbing a lobster roll and an IPA after. Here’s what we’re wearing on beach days in the Hamptons in 2023.
SWIMWEAR
This is our fourth season carrying local swimwear brand Mishiki. We’re obsessed with their simple, flattering cuts, and interchangeable tops and bottoms. Many of their fuller coverage swim tops work perfectly for town too, just slip on our Poppy Pant over the bottoms. These beautifully constructed suits are so easy to wear, plus they’re ethically made in Peru.
Available in Sag Harbor and Amagansett stores only (not available online.)

BEACH DAY DRESSES
From the market, to the beach, to al fresco lunching in town—these beach dresses are ready for the whole day. They’re all made from breathable, super soft, Pima cotton—a fabric that holds up beautifully to salt, sand, getting crunched into a beach bag, and repeated washings. One and done, toss it on and go.

...AND FOR COOL BEACH NIGHTS
For chillier nights on the beach, or just to feel extra cozy after the sun goes down, toss either of these perfect layering tops over any of our dresses, for a snuggly bonfire vibe. These chic sorbet colors are our new obsession.

THE BEACH LANE WAFFLE CASHMERE HOODIE IN ROSE QUARTZ
Whether your beach-day-style is all about iced coffees, top down, music up, besties and rosé all day—or it's about sandy little toes, paddleball, Italian sandwiches, and sleepy snuggles under the umbrella—beach days are always the best days, especially in the Hamptons.
