There’s so much happening in the Hamptons this December, and we are 100% here for it. We’ll be offering free hot cocoa to accompany a few local holiday festivities too, so we hope to see you out there! Here’s a rundown of the best times to head into the villages, grab cocoa at Leallo, and experience some real holiday magic.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 2ND

After hitting up East Hampton for the Annual Holiday Festival which includes free movies at the theater, live music, a Santa parade, a holiday market, and of course Santa landing in Herrick Park in a helicopter (only in the Hamptons) come on down to Bridgehampton's  Hampton Library Holiday Open House where you’ll find carolers, storytelling, an art show and a lovely tree lighting ceremony. The Hayground School will also have their Homegrown for the Holidays party that day, so there’s lots to do all around town.

If Sag Harbor is more your vibe, stroll around and grab a free hot cocoa at Leallo between 2-5pm before hitting the Tree Lighting Festival at Baron’s Cove (4-10pm) where they’ll have warm gingerbread cookies, eggnog, candy cane martinis, live music and lots of activities for the kids (psst… we hear Santa himself will be there around 6:30pm, ho ho ho!)

THURSDAY DECEMBER 7TH

In Sag Harbor, Leallo will be serving up free hot cocoa between 3-5pm before the Menorah Lighting Ceremony on the Wharf at 6pm. If you're in Bridgehampton that day there will be another ceremony at the Hampton Library at 4:30pm.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 17TH

The Ringing of the Harbor Bells at St. Andrews Church in Sag Harbor starts at 4pm, so grab a cocoa at Leallo before then to keep your hands toasty warm for the festivities.

OTHER HOLIDAY THINGS WE LOVE

Even if you don’t make it to Wölffer Estate for the Lighting of the Vines on December 2nd (we understand, there’s a lot going on that day) we recommend going there at any time during the holidays, day or night, the atmosphere is always sublime. And if there’s time, a trip over to Longhouse Illuminated to see the conic sculpture garden all lit up is pure magic.

SYDNEY’S PICKS
Leallo staffer Sydney loves the Buckskill skating rink for family fun, and Gurney’s Igloos by the Sea for festive evenings, “it’s the perfect spot to grab a bite and a drink.” This year 100% of the $50 reservation fee will be donated to local charities.

ERICA’S PICKS
Leallo staffer Erica always makes a trip to Marders “to see it all dressed up for the holidays” and to Fowlers, which has, arguably, the best Santa to visit on the East End, plus beautiful ornaments and décor.

We just love this time of year in the Hamptons, and we can't wait to feel the magic all month long. Come by and grab a cup of cocoa, we can't wait to see you out there!
