Besides designing year-round essentials, it’s important to us as Leallo that the brand remains at the intersection of style and substance. So, while providing our friends and customers with chic solutions to elevated, everyday dressing is something we take great joy in, we’re also big believers in talking about, and cultivating, wellness.
Wellness, in every capacity, is a state of being we are simultaneously inspired – and intimidated by. There’s a lot to discover! This month, as we enter one of the busiest seasons, where maintaining a healthy mindset feels more important than ever, we explore how intellectual wellness, one of the seven domains of wellness, plays a crucial role in our day-to-day lives and subsequently, our style choices.
In simplest terms, intellectual wellness is about nurturing your mind through continuous learning, critical thinking, and creative expression. It's about engaging with ideas, seeking new perspectives, and fostering a curious spirit – the same governing principles integral to our team.
Here are our tips to enhance intellectual wellness (and incorporate that effortless Hamptons energy we’re forever drawn to!)
Curate a list of books that inspire you – memories, fashion biographies, philosophical texts, or even works by local authors. Fall book club? See you there! We also loe the idea of starting your own, and encouraging each friend to invite a guest to double the new faces :)
We also crave a little "me time" with a long walk and a good podcast. Current listens include the Foster sisters World's First podcast and Horoscope Weekly with Aliza Kelly.

Spend a day exploring local galleries or museums (Parrish Art Musuem in Water Mill is always a treat), attend art shows, film screenings, or lectures that challenge your thinking.
Exploring different forms of expression usually lends itself to mixing up personal style.
Which brings us to…

Fresh air is accessible to ALL! Spend time outdoors—go for a walk on the beach, hike in local parks (if you’re local, Shadmoor in Montauk is always great), or simply relax in your own backyard. Use this time to sit in silence - you might be surprised by what insights arrive.
Yes! If you live close to a town I’ve been trying to give myself some time to walk to dinner rather than drive or walk to the other end of town to run that errand rather than drive.
Participate in workshops, lectures, or community events that require you to put yourself out there and meet new people. Learn, connect, grow.
Stay curious and authentic!
